"I just purchased a Kawasaki 900 Vulcan LT, and the process was excellent. I was not pressured to buy something I did not want, and my sales agent Jay, was more than accommodating in letting me try various bikes to find the one I wanted. I say this because I went to another dealership in MD. and was not permitted to test ride anything. I am recommending that if you are in the market for purchasing a motorcycle, even if you have to travel over a hundred miles as I did, go to Cycle World. They are very well staffed and are are very helpful in making sure that you are satisfied. "

"Over the course of 8 months, I stopped in to look at bikes and ask questions while I saved for my down payment. I mostly spoke with Jay and Joey and they were very helpful and informative. They never ignored me even when I said I wouldn't be ready to buy for several months. I changed my mine at least 3 times during that span and eventually settled on a 2015 Yamaha FJ09. They had just sold the one I had been checking out for 6 months, but they found another one in NC and had it on site and assembled within a day. Thanks to Jay, the paperwork was a breeze and I was riding in no time. I purchased some items from the pro shop, and I always receive phone calls immediately when my stuff arrives. "I've had nothing but great experiences with the people in Cycle World. I started off on a Zuma about a year ago, and just recently upgraded to a FZ8. Ron was super helpful in the trade in process and got me a great deal. All the sales staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I spent a lot of time in their parts department as well. The girls in there are really nice and very helpful as well. They have a really good selection of all types of gear, and if they don't have something in stock, they can order it in and it only takes a few days. All in all, I'd recommend Cycle World to anyone interested in purchasing a motorcycle, scooter, or whatever it is you're looking for. "

"Went in on a Sunday with my family to look at purchasing a pair of jet skis (wave runners) .. the sales rep who was there was extremely abrasive with us, as well as not really wanting to answer any questions we had as far as pricing or current availability. I called back on the following Tuesday, as Monday was Memorial Day, and asked to speak with the owner. I was told that the owner was not active with the dealership but I could speak with the General Manager (who is the owner's son). He got on the phone with me, Mr. David Greer, Jr and then proceeded to tell me that he was the one that we had spoken with; he then told me that he didn't offer us any help because I was a "smartass" because he had seen the look I gave my husband. He then asked me "What do you want?" so I proceeded to tell him that we had been in the market to purchase 2 jet ski's as well as a trailer, and because of his lack of customer service he had lost $20,000 in sales to Sunrise Cycles, as we purchased from them on Memorial Day (CASH). He then told me "Congratu-INSERT BAD WORD-lations you purchased two shitty skis" and then slammed the phone down in my ear and hung up on me! If you spend any money in this store, you get what you pay for. I will NEVER set foot in this store again for Sales, Parts, or Service; which is sad because the Service and Parts Department employees are amazing but are held at the mercy of the jack wagon running the show! What's extremely sad is the fact that the father who owns the dealership probably has NO idea that the customer service from his SON is so poor and costing him $$ and pretty soon franchise rights as well!"

"AJ is an outstanding, professional, one of a kind sales clerk that is willing to go above and beyond to not only sale the bike but to make sure the costumer has a full working knowledge of the product in a safe environment. Safety- He not only made sure I had all of the gear that I would need in order to be a safe first time rider but also he took the time to take me to a safe environment to train me in the bike that I perched. Professionalism- He was not worried with staying a little late to work around my schedule, but also was well spoken, talk in a langue I can very easily understand, was a great teacher, great lassoer, cared about what I had to say, and helped me pick a bike to match my needs. Result- I would recommend anyone to Cycle World weather they are buying their first bike or their 100th bike, for sure AJ at Cycle World will take the time out of his day to make sure that you are understand the product you have bought, feel safe to ride, and how to care for your product to make it last for as long as possible. I not only think AJ should stay working at Cycle World would recommend that he gets a rise. For 2 days while he worked with me he was willing to stay late to get the job done. I cannot say enough about how great of a sales clerk AJ was at his job. "

"AJ is the best! I have bought several vehicles thru out my time but have never had the experience that I got with buying my first bike. He's friendly, knowledgeable and just an over all great person to buy from! He not only tells you everything about the product your buying but he will also make sure that you are 100% comfortable with your purchase before you sign. He'll even go out of his way to show the novice rider how to ride the bike they want properly. If you are like I was and have always wanted to own a bike but was also nervous about how to handle one. Don't be! Go on down and ask for AJ, I am curtain you will be satisfied with your decision to purchase your bike from him."

"I went to your location on a Friday night and looked at bikes with my husband. AJ Bennet was an awesome sales guy. He let me look at bikes and didn't treat me like an idiot because I am a woman. I picked out a 2013 Yamaha FZ6R and I love it. We got most of the paperwork done Friday night even tho the location was closed when we were getting started. "Last May I went to few dealerships in the Hampton Roads area and was very displeased with the customer service and looks of the establishment. After finding Cycle World, and looking around; AJ helped me find a bike, and financing to ride away on a 2012 Yamaha Stryker Star 1304cc bike. He and Cycle World were very helpful, polite and to the point. Every question was answered, and the service department was awesome. The Maintenance department even helped me with an after market seat rest that had a stripped bolt and channel. They fixed it in a couple of days for $20. It looks great on my bike. As a military member they helped me out and took my Shadow Spirit 750cc as a trade in on the new Stryker. Look forward to buying more from them in the future. "

"I would just like to say thank you to Cycle World, and especially A.J. Barrett. My wife recently purchased me a 2011 GSXR 1000, and it was the gift of a lifetime. I am active duty in the Navy, and I lost my left leg below the knee while doing training parachute jumps. As an amputee, I thought that my days of riding were over, as I do not have a foot to shift the gears. I couldn't have been more wrong. My wife went to the dealership and spoke with A.J., and he knew just what the bike needed so that I would be able to ride again. A.J. knew that he could have a PINGEL all electric speed shifter put on the bike, and that I would be able to ride again without any problems. Also, A.J., being the awesome salesman that he is even rode the bike 45 miles to deliver it to me, because my wife is not a rider, and she wanted it to be a surpirse for me. I would just like to say a big THANK YOU!! to Cycle World, and an even bigger THANK YOU!! to A.J. Barrett. You guys are awesome, and I really appreciate you taking the time to ensure that I was able to ride again. Thanks Again, Tim Schlappi"

"I came in to look at helmets on Saturday, at 4:50 not realizing the shop closed at 5pm. Chris stayed until almost 6pm helping me look at a helmet for me. He even helped me look at gloves and jackets. I wound up buying a helmet and gloves. It was a great experience! Great customer service."

"I walked onto the lot not knowing what kind of bike I wanted, and Jay Cherry took it from there. He could have tried to put me on a more expensive bike but sensed what I needed. I bought, and am now convinced that if I'd bought any other bike from anyone else I'd be starting to regret it about now. Then the financing department stunned me by beating my credit union - the first time that's happened in 30 years. They've also got the best selection of accessories in town. A+++ all around! "

"I was looking to upgrade from my 1100 spirit to the big boys with a Goldwing. First looked at Honda of VB, but the salesman wasnt willing to work with me on price and even wanted me to find my own financing. So my wife and I looked at Cycle World. Leon Glass was our salesman, and he was very good at what he did. I really wanted the titanium, but they had a Pearl White on display with the Audio/Comfort/Nav option, and after speaking with Leon, we were able to work a great deal out on it with a few extras thrown in to make it worth my while. I would recommend CW to anyone looking for a great deal and a dealer who will stand behind what they sell both for service and for parts/accessories."
